At my clinic I’ve seen women not knowing what a healthy menstrual cycle looks like.
In Chinese Medicine we give relevance to everything comes out of our body as it tells us how it is on the inside. That’s why Chinese Medicine considers what a perfect menstrual cycle is.
1 – It should be pain-FREE. It is very common to have pain before, during and after, but it is NOT normal.
2 – The average cycle should be between 26-32 days and it should be regular every month. The same.
3 – The period blood should be free of clots and mucus. Colour should be bright red.
4 – Bleeding should be between 4 and 6 days.
5 – You shouldn’t have relevant premenstrual symptoms.
The closer is your period to the above, better your well-being would be. It can be rebalanced with acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
