Acupuncture
Our core therapy β€” backed by decades of clinical research

Fine, sterile, single-use needles are inserted at specific points on the body to regulate Qi flow and stimulate the nervous system. Modern research confirms acupuncture triggers endorphin release, reduces inflammation, and regulates the autonomic nervous system.

  • Recognised by NICE for chronic pain management
  • Cochrane-reviewed for migraines β€” as effective as medication
  • Safe, relaxing, and well-tolerated
  • Single-use sterile needles always used

Traditional Herbal Consultation
Available as part of a holistic TCM assessment β€” following individual personal consultation

As part of a full Traditional Chinese Medicine assessment, your practitioner may discuss whether a traditional herbal preparation could form part of your individual care plan.

Where herbal preparations are recommended, they are supplied directly to you as an individual patient, following a personal consultation. No herbal products are advertised for specific conditions or sold online.

  • Only available following a full individual consultation β€” never supplied online or without prior assessment
  • Supplied directly practitioner-to-patient following individual personal consultation
  • Not sold online and not advertised for specific conditions
  • Please disclose all current medications and allergies before any herbal discussion

Electroacupuncture
A gentle electrical current added to standard needling for a stronger clinical effect

A mild, precisely controlled electrical current is passed between pairs of needles, producing a steadier, more sustained stimulation than manual needling alone. Particularly effective for musculoskeletal pain, nerve-related conditions, and cases needing a stronger therapeutic response.

  • Ideal for chronic pain, sciatica and muscle spasm
  • Intensity and frequency tailored to your condition
  • Fully controllable β€” always comfortable, never painful
  • Often combined with standard acupuncture in the same session

Cupping Therapy
Traditional suction therapy to release tight muscles and improve circulation

Cups are placed on the skin to create gentle suction, drawing blood flow to the area, releasing fascial and muscular tension, and helping clear stagnation in Chinese medicine terms. Commonly used alongside acupuncture for musculoskeletal complaints.

  • Effective for back, neck and shoulder tension
  • Supports recovery from sports injuries
  • May leave temporary, painless circular marks that fade within days
  • Often combined with acupuncture in the same visit

Moxibustion
Gentle heat therapy using mugwort to warm and invigorate Qi

Dried mugwort (moxa) is burned close to the skin to deliver a gentle, penetrating warmth to specific points and areas. In Chinese medicine, this is used to address patterns of Cold or deficiency β€” helping move stagnation and support the body's own healing response.

  • Well suited to cold-pattern pain, low energy and digestive weakness
  • Often used alongside acupuncture, especially in colder months
  • Warm, relaxing sensation β€” no burning or discomfort
  • Smokeless options available on request

Tui Na Massage
Therapeutic Chinese massage to relieve tension and restore movement

Tui Na uses focused pressure, kneading and joint mobilisation along the body's channels to relieve muscular tension, improve circulation and restore range of motion. Frequently combined with acupuncture for musculoskeletal conditions, or used as a standalone therapy.

  • Effective for tight shoulders, neck and lower back
  • Improves mobility and reduces stiffness
  • Can be adapted to a gentler or firmer pressure to suit you
  • A relaxing option for those not ready for needling
